Greta Curtin (concertina) and Jessie Healy (fiddle) have been playing music together for over a decade, blending the rich traditions of Co. Kerry and Co. Limerick into a lively sound. They share a love of all things musical, especially the driving polkas and slides of the Sliabh Luachra tradition. This comes to light when they play music together which is full of lift, heart and infectious energy.
They are absolutely delighted to be visiting Shennaghys Jiu, a place that holds a very special place in their hearts, making this performance all the more meaningful.
When they’re not playing music, both Greta and Jessie work full-time with children. They love a chance to meet up, travel to festivals, share tunes, have the craic and make new friends along the way.
