Ellie Allen has become a familiar face at Shennaghys Jiu over the years, performing as a caller for Cornish ceilidh band, Splann. Ellie fell in love with all things Celtic from an early age, thanks to Lowender Peran Festival. Since then she’s danced and called at numerous Celtic and folk festivals, including Interceltique Festival, Lorient, Priddy Folk Festival, the Pan Celtic Festival and Cwlwm Celtaidd. Ellie will be once again bringing her enthusiasm and intricate working for different festivals to help make Shennaghys Jiu as memorable as ever.
